Musicians visit schools
The »Junge Wilde« are young musicians.
Music is their profession.
They visit schools in Dortmund.
There they make music.
They talk about their work.
And they answer questions.
They show that:
Young people make music too.
And it’s fun.
The »Junge Wilde« are young, successful musicians who attend schools in Dortmund and share their enthusiasm for music. They play live, offer insights into their daily lives as musicians and engage in conversation with the pupils.
In doing so, they show that music is a vibrant profession and offers plenty of opportunities for young people too.

You don’t have to be able to play an instrument.
You don’t have to be able to read music.
You don’t have to bring anything.
You don’t have to register.
All offers are free of charge.
The activities are open to everyone: no registration required, no prior experience needed, and free of charge. Just come along and join in. - What is Community Music?
Community Music means:
Lots of people making music together.
Everyone is welcome.
It doesn’t matter if you can’t play.
Community Music is an English term.
This is how you pronounce it: Kom-ju-ni-ti myu-sick.
Community means togetherness.
Community Music is music for everyone.
Community Music is based on the belief that anyone can make music. People from all walks of life come together to make music, share ideas and build a sense of community.
