The Konzerthaus Dortmund has many years of experience in the field of community music and is one of the first venues in Germany to have its own dedicated department. We pass on this knowledge through our professional development programmes.
We offer training courses, lectures and practical insights for anyone who works with groups in a musical context or wishes to further develop community music in their own practice.

All offers are free of charge.
The activities are open to everyone: no registration required, no prior experience needed, and free of charge. Just come along and join in. - What is Community Music?

Community Music is based on the belief that anyone can make music. People from all walks of life come together to make music, share ideas and build a sense of community.
