The Community Music certificate course at the Landesmusikakademie NRW (North Rhine-Westphalia State Music Academy) provides participants with sound skills for working with groups in a variety of social contexts. The focus is on inclusive, open-access music-making that strengthens cultural participation and promotes creative forms of expression.

As a training partner, the Konzerthaus Dortmund accompanies participants throughout the entire course. This includes mentoring by experienced community musicians from our organisation and a training day on site. The practical experience at the Konzerthaus creates space for artistic development, exchange and networking with actors from theory and practice in Germany and internationally.
