Fast so als ob Freddie Mercury leibhaftig auf der Bühne stände – so authentisch performen Harry Rose & die Q-Revival-Band in »God Save The Queen« die Hits der britischen Mega-Rocker Queen. Zwei Stunden geballte Live-Power mit den Queen-Klassikern! Ob »Bohemian Rhapsody«, »We will rock you«, »It’s a kind of magic« oder »Another one bites the dust«, diese Show hat alle Superhits. Die Q-Revival-Band rockt die bis ins letzte Detail perfekt ausgefeilten Queen-Songs mit dem gewohnt wuchtigen, unverfälschten Sound. Sogar die Instrumente und Gitarrenverstärker sowie zahlreiche Requisiten entsprechen den Originalen.

Und doch geht »God Save The Queen« weit über ein normales Tribute-Konzert hinaus. Die Band präsentiert eine abwechslungsreiche, abendfüllende musikalische Zeitreise durch das Gesamtwerk der größten Rockband aller Zeiten.

Bei »God Save The Queen« steht das im Vordergrund, was Queen ausmachte: die Musik und die extravagante Performance eines einzigartigen Sängers mit seiner Band. Hierzu gehört auch, dass nicht nur ein Feuerwerk der bekanntesten Hits von Queen geboten wird, sondern auch weniger bekannte Queen-Kompositionen, die musikalisch genial sind und ein anspruchsvolles Publikum verdienen. Die Show verbeugt sich ehrfurchtsvoll vor dem Original, hält den Geist der legendären Rockgruppe lebendig und steckt das Publikum mit diesem ganz besonderen Konzert-Feeling an.

Die ganze Welt weiß, dass es niemals einen zweiten Freddie Mercury geben wird. Dennoch kommt der charismatische Frontmann Harry Rose mit seiner umwerfenden Freddie-Performance und seiner Stimmgewalt dem legendären Original sehr nahe. Rose sieht aus wie Mercury, tanzt wie Mercury und singt wie Mercury. Von den Bühnenoutfits bis hin zur kleinsten Geste – Harry Rose scheint das große Original vollkommen verinnerlicht zu haben. Stimmgewaltig und charismatisch interpretiert er selbst die anspruchsvollsten Stücke. Und legt in seine Stimme und sein Auftreten genau die richtige Dosis Dramatik und Pathos, mit denen sich auch Freddie Mercury in die Konzertgeschichte geschrieben hat

    The main entrance lies within a pedestrian zone. It is not possible to drive up to it by car.

  • Arrival and Parking

    Konzerthaus Dortmund is easy to access with public transport. With concert tickets that include a note about the DSW21 Kombiticket, using all VRR public transport to travel to and from the event is free (you can find more information on the DSW21 Kombiticket here). In addition, there are four car parks in the immediate vicinity. More information about parking options and conditions can be found here.

  • Accessibility

    Konzerthaus Dortmund is certified as an accessible space: it has step-free entrances and the foyer, stalls and first and second-floor balconies can be reached via lifts. Disabled-accessible toilets are available. An induction loop is available for hearing aid users.

  • Cloakroom

    We are happy to store your coats and rucksacks, and large musical instruments or umbrellas too, in the cloakroom. The cloakroom fee is €1.50.

  • Admission

    The entrance foyer and day/evening box office always open 90 minutes before the start of an event. (Different regulations may apply for third-party events.) You can take your seat 30 minutes before the start of an event at the earliest. If you arrive late, our foyer staff will, where possible, let you into the hall at a suitable point in the programme to prevent disruption to ongoing performances.

  • Photos and Audio Recordings

    Of course, you are permitted to take photos and make audio recordings for your own personal use during your visit to Konzerthaus Dortmund. However, please understand that during the performances, using devices to take photos or record audio is not permitted for copyright reasons.
