VRR KombiTicket

Together with DSW21, which runs public transport in Dortmund, Konzerthaus is launching a new service for the 2022/23 season for our own events and the events of many of our partners. If your concert ticket indicates that it is also a travel ticket, it is valid for the outbound and return journey throughout the whole VRR travel region to get to and from the Konzerthaus in an environmentally friendly way.

This applies to both those with individual tickets and season ticket holders.

  • Is the Service Free for Me?

Yes, with this service you can travel to and from the event location free of charge with public transport in the Rhine-Ruhr transport association (VRR) area. This offer applies on the day of the event until 3am of the next day and for second class tickets.

  • How Can I Get My Free Travel Ticket?

Anyone with a normal ticket (paper ticket) does not need to do anything else. The admission ticket is also a travel ticket if there is a written note on the respective admission ticket that it is valid as a KombiTicket.
Holders of a Print@Home ticket or a mobile ticket (Apple Wallet/Google Pay) have to personalise the public transport ticket for technical reason here and download it separately to use the VRR public transport on the day of the event.

  • How Can I Personalise My Ticket?

You can find the ticket code on your online ticket (16 digits). Please enter this data at https://kombiticket.dsw21.de/ and select the “Konzerthaus Dortmund” ticket type to print your personalised travel ticket (KombiTicket).

We recommend that you only personalise your KombiTicket shortly before your journey because the travel ticket can no longer be transferred after it has been personalised.

If you have problems printing your digital KombiTicket, you can re-print the document. Re-enter your ticket data to do this. Please note that the original personalisation and dating that you created can no longer be changed.

  • Who Can Use the Ticket?

Holders of a Print@Home ticket or a mobile ticket (Apple Wallet/Google Pay) must personalise their ticket before the journey: after personalisation, the ticket is valid for the person whose details have been entered when the Kombiticket is retrieved. To authorise the print-out, the person travelling simply uses their identity card and the concert ticket.
Please note: the personalisation cannot be modified afterwards.
A normal ticket (paper ticket) does not need to be personalised.

  • How Quickly Can I Get My KombiTicket?

Your personal ticket for using public transport is displayed immediately after registration; you then only need to print it out.

  • Can I Reprint My KombiTicket?

If you have problems printing your KombiTicket, you can re-print the document. Re-enter your ticket data to do this. Please note that the original personalisation and dating that you created can no longer be changed.
